Kai,
I have heard wonderful things about your Minnitaki Island retreat. Most notably, your fantastic monster lake trout population...and the ease at which they can be harvested. You see, most of the folks that are interested in my show or guiding services don't know the difference between a fishing pole and a telephone pole...real losers. They are mainly interested in catching a couple of big fish while downing a 12/pack at the same time.
Would it be possible for you to hook me up with one of your guests...a guest that simply trolls around in circles in front of the cabin sucking down LaBatts and holler'in at other boaters as they pass by? I sure would appreciate it if you had a guest that fits that description. I would have a lot of work for him.
Thanks!
Babe

We are all very excited to have Toothless Bruce back in camp this year.
Kai...question - for Christmas, I asked for a copy of the long lost Scott Walker LP, Nite Flights (circa 1978). On Christmas morn, it was not to be...the CD was not under the tree; my family was unable to procure for me. Stew had mentioned your impressive music collection in the small cabin. Is it possible you might have this CD stuck between the logs somewhere down there? I will trade you (2) 5 year old marine batteries for it.
What do you think?

Kai,
Sorry I couldn't make it up last year. I understand it was a pretty good crankbait bite. Are you interested in me bringing up some Derby Pie or a UK "Big Blue" t-shirt, or some turtle soup? I appreciate you taking good care of the little cabin, but I am hoping you can deal with the misquitos a little better this year. My face swelled up like a can of Labatts sitting in the back of a pick-up in Shelbyville in July. Perhaps I'll put a net over my head like Frankenstein's bride or just opt out and sleep with Brady the snoring machine up in the big cabin, eh?
